When the Tuesday Slack hits, the Brand Manager has already defined the threshold: AI imagery for hero campaigns requires human creative sign-off. She can see the three assets flagged for review, compare them to the competitor reference, and have the authority to pull them before posting. She's not a bottleneck; she's a checkpoint.
The Marketing Ops Lead as AI Auditor. The right fit for federated organizations where multiple teams are touching AI-generated content. Audit authority, not creative control, is what's needed here. The Marketing Ops Lead doesn't own the output; she owns the process. When the 40 assets surface unreviewed, she has the authority to pause the scheduled posts and route them back through the threshold policy, without having to argue for that authority in the moment.

You don't need a governance strategy document on Monday. You need one 45-minute meeting with the right people and three decisions made before you leave the room.
- Name the owner. One person, not a committee.
